Find a market and understand the odds

After logging in, going to the betting section will show a list of different sports — cricket, football, tennis and more. Clicking on a match will show all the markets available for that match, such as match winner, total runs, handicap or series winner.

Odds for each market are shown as numbers. taka baje Bet generally uses decimal format, but fractional or American formats can also be displayed. The example below shows what the same value looks like in all three formats:

Format Odds for Team A to win Return on a ৳1,000 bet
Decimal 2.25 ৳2,250 (৳1,250 profit + stake)
Fractional 5/4 ৳2,250
American +125 ৳2,250
Favourites have lower odds — if Team B is the favourite, their decimal odds might be 1.25 (fractional 1/4, American −400). In that case, a ৳1,000 bet would return ৳1,250 (profit of only ৳250). The higher the odds, the higher the potential return — but the chances of winning are considered lower accordingly.

If you're particularly interested in cricket betting, the cricket betting page has detailed information — BPL, IPL and T20 World Cup markets are each covered there separately.

Which market should you choose?

The match winner market is the simplest — you just pick one team. It's the best starting point for beginners. Handicap or over/under markets require a bit more understanding.

Single and multi bets on the bet slip

Clicking on a market automatically adds it to the bet slip. After entering the stake, the potential return is shown immediately. Keeping just one selection makes it a single bet. Adding multiple selections creates a multi bet.

Multi bet example: Three different teams are selected across three matches — the odds for each are 1.50, 1.70 and 1.80 respectively. In a multi bet, these three odds are multiplied together: 1.50 × 1.70 × 1.80 = 4.59. With a ৳100 stake, if all three win the return is ৳459. But if even one loses, the entire ৳100 is lost — that's the core of a multi bet.

The appeal of a multi bet is the chance of a higher return from a smaller stake — but all selections must be correct at the same time. It's better for beginners to get comfortable with single bets first.

Before confirming a bet, check all the details on the slip — selection, stake and potential return. Once confirmed, the bet cannot be cancelled.
Bet Slip — Multi Bet (example)
Selection 1 Odds 1.50
Selection 2 Odds 1.70
Selection 3 Odds 1.80
Total Combined Odds 4.59
Stake ৳100
Potential Return (if all win) ৳459

If any one of the three selections loses, the entire ৳100 is lost.

Bet Slip — Single Bet (example)
Selection — Team A to win 2.25
Stake ৳1,000
Potential Return ৳2,250

If Team A loses, you lose ৳1,000.

Bet on both sports and casino

taka baje Live Casino and Card Game Betting

taka baje Bet is not limited to sports alone. Alongside cricket or football, you can also place bets on live casino games — including baccarat, roulette and Teen Patti across various live tables. Each game has its own betting structure.

In casino betting, payout ratios replace odds — for example, a straight-up bet on a single number in roulette pays out 35:1, meaning a ৳100 bet returns ৳3,500 (including stake). The taka baje Casino page has detailed information on live casino and slot games.

Sports betting also includes an in-play (live betting) option — market odds change while a match is in progress, and new bets can still be placed during that time.

Check results in bet history

After placing a bet, going to the "Bet History" or "My Bets" section of the dashboard will show a list of active and completed bets. An open bet is one whose result has not yet come in — the match is ongoing or hasn't started yet.

A settled bet means the result has been declared. If you won, the winnings are added to your balance; if you lost, the bet shows as settled. Full details for each bet — selection, stake, odds, result and return — are all listed there.

To withdraw, go directly to the withdrawal option from your balance. You can send funds via bKash, Nagad, Rocket or Upay. The minimum withdrawal is ৳500, and the money usually arrives within 10–45 minutes.

Set your budget and limits before betting

Betting is entertainment — winning is not guaranteed. So set some rules for yourself before you start playing. The responsible gaming page has detailed advice on this.

Set a daily budget

Decide in advance how much money you will use each day. Don't go beyond that limit — even if you still have balance.

Maximum loss limit

It's a good habit to stop betting for the day once you've lost a set amount. Avoid placing larger bets to try to recover losses.

Stake control

Keep each bet to a small portion of your total budget. Putting it all in at once is risky.

Keep a betting record

Check your bet history regularly — knowing how much you've won and how much you've lost makes it easier to make decisions.

If you need help

If you're having trouble keeping your betting under control, contact taka baje's 24/7 live chat or email support — help is available in Bangla.

Be aware of bonuses

If you take a bonus, keep the wagering conditions in mind. The 120% welcome bonus has a wagering requirement of 20 times the bonus amount.
